  7. 1/4 cup caramelized onion jam
  8. 6 oz farro
  9. 6 oz beluga lentils
  10. 1/4 cup cilantro crema
  11. 2 tbsp + 1 tsp olive oil (from your kitchen)

Make the crispy date topping

Combine crispy onions, dates, just half the cilantro, 1 tsp olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper in small bowl. Set aside.

Bloom the spices

Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in medium saucepan over medium heat. Add cumin, just ½ tbsp coriander, and just ½ tbsp cinnamon and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Finish and serve

Add onion jam, farro, and lentils to saucepan with bloomed spices and cook, stirring frequently, until warmed through, 3 to 4 minutes. Off heat, stir in remaining cilantro. Divide Lebanese farro with lentils between serving bowls. Sprinkle with crispy date topping and serve with cilantro crema. صحه وعافيه!
